1 KINGS 7:13–26
In 2014, Nigerian doctor Ameyo Adadevoh played a crucial role in containing Ebola in Nigeria by recognising the danger and helping prevent further spread. Her courage and professional skill remind us that God-given abilities can become instruments for protecting and serving others.
In 1 Kings 7:13–26, Solomon appointed Huram, a craftsman gifted with wisdom, understanding and skill in bronze work. He used these abilities to make the temple furnishings. His work shows that practical skills can have spiritual value when dedicated to God.
Whatever ability God has given you, use it faithfully. Whether teaching, singing, building, leading or serving quietly, do it with diligence and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Your gift can bless others and honour God.
🙏 May the Lord fill you with His Spirit, strengthen your hands, and use your gifts for His glory. Amen.
