1 PETER 1:3–9
A man once sang softly each night in a hospital ward, though facing a terminal illness. Others wondered why. He smiled, saying his hope lay beyond what he could see. Like him, true joy is not tied to ease but to faith that looks past present pain.
In 1 Peter 1:3–9, First Epistle of Peter teaches that believers rejoice not because of suffering, but because trials refine faith and point to future glory. Though we do not see Christ, we trust Him and are filled with inexpressible joy rooted in salvation.
Today, life may feel unjust or uncertain, yet faith anchors us. When we trust Christ, joy remains steady despite hardship, proving our faith genuine. Others can see hope through us even in trials.
🙏 May God fill you with lasting joy beyond your circumstances, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
