PHILIPPIANS 2:1–11
A young man named Daniel was praised after leading a successful community project. Instead of taking all the credit, he thanked the volunteers and quietly helped clean up after everyone had left. His humility made his achievement even more meaningful.
Paul encourages believers to live in unity, love and humility, considering others above themselves. He presents Christ as the perfect example. Jesus humbled Himself, took the form of a servant and obeyed God even unto death. Therefore, God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name above every name.
True greatness is not about lifting ourselves above others. Like Christ, we should serve humbly, value others and obey God even when it is costly. Let Christ’s humility shape your attitude and relationships.
