THINK WELL, DO GOOD

PHILIPPIANS 4:1–9

During the Crimean War, Florence Nightingale did more than feel compassion for wounded soldiers. She turned concern into practical action, improving nursing care and hospital conditions. Her example reminds us that good intentions become meaningful when they produce useful actions.

In Philippians 4:1–9, Paul urges believers to rejoice, pray with thanksgiving, live in harmony and think about whatever is true, noble, pure, lovely and commendable. He further instructs them to practise what they have learnt and received.

Our thoughts influence our actions. Therefore, fill your mind with God’s truth and put your faith into practice through kindness, honesty, peace and helpful service.

🙏 May the Lord fill your heart with pure thoughts, guide your actions, and make your life a blessing to others. Amen.
