PROVERBS 14:1-12
A driver follows a cheerful voice, only to end at a closed gate. The directions sounded right, but the destination was wrong.
The Bible warns of this mistake. Proverbs 14:12 says a way may seem right, yet leads to death. God’s commands are not restrictions but guidance, placing Him first so life stays aligned with His purpose.
Today, culture tells us to chase comfort and self-rule. Yet putting ourselves first slowly drains our souls. When we submit to God, as Jesus did, He fills us with true life and direction.
