THE WILTED SEED THAT STILL GREW

GENESIS 37:31-35; 45:25–28

A farmer once abandoned a field after drought scorched his crops, forgetting that rain would return. Likewise, life’s disappointments can make us give up too soon, thinking hope is lost when God is still at work beneath the surface.

In Scripture, Jacob mourned Joseph for years, believing his son was dead. His hope was deferred, his spirit crushed, yet God was silently fulfilling His promise. When Jacob heard Joseph was alive, his spirit revived (Genesis 45:25–28; Proverbs 13:12).

Many today live with buried disappointments and unspoken pain. God calls us to trust Him with our grief. When we surrender our broken hopes, He restores joy and renews our strength.

🙏 May the Lord change your story, restore your hope and revive your weary spirit. Amen.
