THE UNPAID BILL

DEUTERONOMY 26:12-15

Imagine a restaurant where a stranger secretly settles your massive bill before you even order. That is the startling reality of God’s grace; He pays debts we never could.

In Deuteronomy 26, God commands His people to set aside a portion of their harvest specifically for the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows. This act was more than simple charity; it was a heartfelt way of admitting that everything they owned actually belonged to the Lord, who had already generously provided for their needs.

Today, when bills pile up or loneliness strikes, remember you are both the recipient of a paid debt and called to be a payer for others. Whether facing financial strain or supporting the marginalised, our generosity proves we trust the One who settled our ultimate account.

🙏 May your Heavenly Father help you to share freely, knowing He has already paid your greatest debt. Amen.
