JAMES 3:1–6
A single light switch can change a dark room instantly; words work the same way. One careless sentence can wound, while a thoughtful one can bring warmth and clarity.
James 3:1–6 reminds us that the tongue, though small, steers lives like a rudder guides a ship. Paul adds that our speech should be truthful and helpful, building others up rather than tearing them down (Ephesians 4:29).
Today, in conversations, texts, and online posts, our words still shape hearts. With the Holy Spirit’s help, we can choose speech that heals, encourages, and reflects Christ.
