MATTHEW 4:18–22,
A man once lingered at an open door, unwilling to step through because it meant leaving his old room behind. Safety kept him stuck. Many of us stand like that—torn between comfort and calling.
Looking at Matthew 4:18–22, Jesus called Peter, Andrew, James, and John as they worked. They left nets, boats, and family to follow Him. Their response was immediate. His invitation was clear: follow Me, and your purpose will change.
We too are called. Sometimes we must leave familiar patterns, secure plans, or limiting fears. Christ’s call may disrupt our routine, yet it leads to a deeper purpose. When He says “Follow Me,” He is worthy of our trust.
🙏 May the Lord Jesus lead you through the door He has opened. Amen.
