1 JOHN 2:7-11
While polishing a mirror, I noticed that any mark blurred my reflection. It reminded me how easily hypocrisy clouds the image of Christ we are meant to reflect. Our words might sound pure, yet if our hearts harbour bitterness, the light we claim fades into shadow.
John reminds us that true faith shines through love (1 John 2:10). To walk in the light means to let Christ’s compassion cleanse our hearts, bringing our words and actions into harmony. When others see this congruence, they glimpse not perfection but genuine discipleship.
