‎THE GARDEN AFTER THE STORM

‎PSALM 85

‎After a fierce storm, a gardener found her once-thriving plot flattened—flowers broken, soil washed out. Instead of giving up, she replanted, watered, and waited. Weeks later, new shoots appeared. Like that garden, our lives can be battered, yet God delights in restoring what is damaged.

‎Psalm 85 recalls Israel returning from exile, remembering God’s past forgiveness and mercy. The psalmist boldly asks God to revive His people again and confidently expects Him to bring peace, renewal, and righteousness to their land.

‎Today many of us face emotional storms, consequences of choices, or seasons that leave us feeling worn. But God still restores. When we return to Him, He rebuilds what is broken and grows hope where sorrow once stood.

🙏 I pray that the Lord will revive your heart and restore your joy. Amen.
