MATTHEW 16:13–20
A child’s broken pencil seemed useless, yet it still wrote clearly when sharpened. What looked ruined still had purpose.
When we read Matthew 16:13–20, Peter boldly proclaims Jesus as the Christ. Though he would later deny Him, Jesus had already declared that He would build His church upon this “rock.” Peter’s failure did not overturn God’s plan.
We may feel disqualified by our mistakes, but God sees beyond them. Like Peter, we can be restored and strengthened. Trust Him to shape your life, using even your failures to fulfil His greater purpose.
🙏 May God use your weakness for His glory. Amen.
