JOHN 15:1–8
When a city-wide power cut darkened the streets, one lamp stayed lit because it was plugged into a generator. Its steady glow told a simple story: connection brings life and light.
In John 15:1–8, Jesus describes Himself as the true Vine and His followers as branches. Just as branches depend entirely on the vine for nourishment, believers must remain in Christ to bear lasting fruit. Apart from Him, nothing of spiritual value can grow.
Today, exhaustion, worry, and busyness tempt us to disconnect. Choosing daily prayer, Scripture, and obedience keeps us rooted in Christ, drawing strength to live faithfully and fruitfully.
