1 KINGS 8:1–11
A family preparing for an important guest ensures their home is clean and welcoming. Similarly, we must honour God’s presence with reverence, obedience and sincere worship.
In 1 Kings 8:1–11, Solomon gathered Israel’s leaders to bring the Ark of the Covenant into the newly dedicated temple. When the priests withdrew, a cloud filled the temple, and God’s glory was revealed. This demonstrated His holy presence among His people.
Let us honour God in our worship, cherish His presence and keep our hearts pure before Him. May our homes, churches and daily lives reflect genuine devotion and obedience to God.
🙏 May the presence of the Lord dwell with you, guide your steps, and fill your life with His glory and blessings, now and always. Amen.
