PSALM 126:5
Psalm 126 is all about joy – joy remembered, joy lost, joy hoped. It is one of the Songs of Ascents (a title given to fifteen of the Psalms, 120–134). They are also variously called Gradual Psalms, Songs of Degrees, Songs of Steps, songs for going up to worship or Pilgrim Songs.
Are you stuck in a sad, angry, or bored place? There is joy ahead. As you make your pilgrimage into the future, ask God to remind you of the joy He has brought in the past or give you joy today.
