PEACE IN THE QUIET HOUR

JOHN 16:29–33

Susanna Wesley, mother of John and Charles Wesley, managed a large household under financial strain, yet she maintained a disciplined prayer life. Unable to find private space, she would lift her apron over her head to create a “quiet place” with God, showing that peace is cultivated, not dependent on surroundings.

In John 16:29–33, the disciples profess belief, yet Jesus foretells their scattering. Though left alone, He remains with the Father and assures them of peace, having overcome the world

So in busy or troubled seasons, we anchor our hearts in Christ. His peace is not fragile but strong enough to steady us in every situation.

🙏May Christ’s peace guard your heart and strengthen your faith. Amen.
