EXODUS 3:1-12
Patches of beauty can be seen all around us, providing us with fleeting glimpses of God’s goodness amid the chaos and stress of our daily lives. If only we would pause and consider God’s love for us, these cracks in the universe’s defenses are where heaven is peeping through.
What if Moses had merely given the bush that was burning but not consumed a quick glance? (Exodus 3:2). What if he had brushed it off and pushed on to something else? He would have missed an extraordinary, transformative meeting with the eternal God.
Sometimes we must move quickly in life. But generally speaking, life ought to be slower-paced and more attentive. Live in the now. Life is awareness; it is witnessing the manifestation of God’s love. It is veering off to observe the wonder of something like a sunrise. Something fleeting but symbolic of the eternity we will experience.
🙏🏼 Lord Jesus, open our eyes so we might catch glimpses of the truth You have for us.
