PARADOGS

PSALM 143:7-12

The Allied troops during World War II needed the sharp senses of dogs to smell their way through minefields and to warn troops of impending danger as they prepared for D-Day (June 6, 1944). And a parachute was the only method to convey these animals to troops hidden behind enemy lines. However, dogs are naturally frightened of doing this—and, let us be honest, they are not the only ones. The dogs eventually learned to trust their masters enough to jump when ordered after several weeks of training, though.

I wonder if any of us have enough faith in our Master to take on difficult tasks or activities that might make us uncomfortable.

Paradogs often get medals for their bravery. I believe we too shall someday hear “well done” because we have trusted our Master enough to jump when He commanded, “Go!”

🤔 What is God asking us to do?
