PSALM 92
As they age, trees no longer bear good fruit. However, the Psalmist says that those who are planted in the house of the Lord will still bear fruit in old age because He is their rock. The righteous can be like the palm and the cedar trees.
Palm trees represent imposing beauty and cedars represent unwavering strength.
Do you feel your usefulness to God is over? God is not done with you. Carry on in His Word, be rooted and grounded in Christ, and drink of His love and faithfulness. No matter how old you are, you will be fruitful, fresh, and prosperous.
🙏O Lord, make us fruitful at all times.
