OUT OF THE SHADOWS

PSALM 77:1-15

I am not sure what dire circumstance inspired Asaph to pen Psalm 77, but I have heard and expressed similar cries before.

But in verse 10, Asaph experiences a change of heart as a result of remembering God’s love and His deeds.

In this life, despair is real, yet solutions are hardly simple. However, amid the pitch black, our hopelessness can begin to fade as we are reminded of God’s majesty, splendor, strength, and love. Like Asaph, we have the ability to review God’s works, particularly the salvation He brought about through Jesus, and go back to where we were, gladly resting in His tremendous love.

🙏 Lord Jesus, help us to remember Your goodness and to embrace Your breathtaking love as we make our way back into Your arms.
