HEBREWS 11:16B
Mark 8:38 says, “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”
But for those who live by faith, no matter how they may see themselves, or how useless they may feel in their jobs or how many times they have messed up and felt as though they have let God and others down; if they belong to Him, He is not ashamed to be called their God. He has a better place prepared for them.
For some who may be wondering how to please God and come back to faith – the truth is that none of us are worthy of God’s love. He chooses to love us in spite of all that we are. His choice makes us worthy. His choice makes us lovable. Throw aside the shame and come back to your Father.
