SONG OF SONGS 8:6–7
One windy morning, I watched a tiny paper boat stay afloat while children were splashing in a puddle. Their stronger toys sank, but the little boat kept drifting. It reminded me that real love is not about strength we can see but about love that lasts—especially God’s love.
The Song of Songs tells us, “Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away..” This shows that true love is powerful, steady and impossible to wash away. It ultimately points to God’s faithful love for His people.
When life breaks our routines, plans or confidence, God’s love remains firm. He carries us, steadies us and stands with us through every storm.
