1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-27
A lone worker is an employee who carries out an activity that is carried out in isolation from other workers without close or direct supervision. Such personnel may be at risk because there is no one to help them. For safety, such persons have to keep others informed.
Sometimes Christians think they work best on their own, but we are obligated to work with others in the Church. Every Christian has been inducted into the “body of Christ” and the Lord wants us to share fellowship with a local community of believers by using our spiritual gifts and working together in His service.
Some cannot physically be in church for various reasons. For example, due to health problems, they may be locked in their homes or unable to integrate into the Church. However, they are a necessary part of the body. Others may satisfy their need for union by visiting them. Let us do our part to make others feel like an integral part of the faith community. We work better together than alone.
🙏 Lord, may Iron sharpen iron as Your people work together for the growth of Your kingdom in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
