PSALM 119:9–16, 97–105
As a child, I remember how, during power outages, the soft glow of a kerosene lamp or candle would fill the room, chasing away the night’s shadows.
Psalm 119 reminds us that God’s Word is like this lamp—lighting our way when life feels dark and uncertain.
Without His Word, we can lose direction; with it, our hearts find wisdom and hope.
Just as the lamp or candlelight guides our steps inside the home, God’s Word guides our steps in life, keeping us safe and steady.
