ROMANS 8:31-39
When we cross a busy road with young children, we extend our hand and ask them to hold on tight, and our children grasp our hand as firmly as they can. But we would never rely on their grip. Our hold on their hand is what keeps them safe.
One thing is for sure: it is the strength of Jesus’ hold, not our grip on God, that keeps us safe. Nobody, not satan, nor humans, can take us out of His clutches. He will not let go of us once we are in His hands.
It is these hands that sculpted hills and seas, as well as threw stars into orbit. Nothing in this life or the next can detach us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39).
We are kept by the One who saved us.
🙏🏼 Lord, You have led us by Your right hand throughout life. We trust You to hold us and keep us safe to the end.
