HYPERSEEING

1 CORINTHIANS 2:9; ROMANS 8:28-30

When a sculptor can look at a rough piece of stone and envision it in its finished, ideal shape, they are said to have a special talent. The term “hyperseeing” is used to describe it. This also means seeing from multiple viewpoints in a very general sense.

Our all-seeing God can equally be described as hyperseeing. He perceives us in all our fullness. When He has finished His work and we are standing before Him, holy and without a spot, He sees what we will be: the precise resemblance, the very image of Jesus. On the day that Jesus Christ returns, the God who began this great work in us will finish it (see Philippians 1:6).

God can never be disregarded! Nothing can or will continue to be a barrier until He has completed the task He started so long ago because He longs for our perfection so much.

If only we would trust the Master Sculptor with our whole heart.

🙏🏼Lord, work in us to make us what You want us to be.
