HOPE THROUGH THE STORM

GENESIS 8:1–23

In 2012, fisherman José Salvador Alvarenga set out from Mexico on a two-day fishing trip when a violent storm destroyed his boat’s engine. He drifted across the Pacific Ocean for 438 days before reaching the Marshall Islands alive. His survival remains one of the most verified sea survival stories ever recorded.

In Book of Genesis 8:1–23, God remembered Noah and caused the floodwaters to recede. The dove returned with an olive leaf, signalling restoration and new beginnings after the storm. Noah trusted God’s timing and obeyed Him faithfully.

When life’s storms seem endless, remember that God never forgets His people. Trust His timing, remain patient, and believe that restoration will surely come.

🙏May God’s restoring grace uphold and renew you through every storm, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
