PSALM 68:7–10,19–20
“Hoo-ah” is a guttural reaction used by US Army soldiers to indicate their approval. Although its original meaning has been lost over the years, some claim that it was formed from the acronym HUA, which stands for Heard, Understood, and Acknowledged.
Selah, a musical notation, is often used after a profound emotional response, and its meaning is uncertain.
This morning we read Psalm 68:19: “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” (kjv).
Think about it! God puts us on His shoulders every morning and carries us through the day. He offers us hope. We have no reason to be concerned or afraid since we are safe and secure in Him. We can exclaim, “Hoo-ah (Selah)!”
We have no cause for worry or fear.
