LUKE 2:8–14
During a sudden blackout, a Nigerian family gathered round a lantern, sharing stories and laughter. Then power returned, flooding the room with light. Christmas joy often arrives like that—unexpectedly, cutting through fear with hope.
In Luke 2:8–14, shepherds on a quiet hillside were startled by angels. “Do not be afraid,” they heard, for a Saviour was born. Heaven announced peace, and ordinary workers became first witnesses of God’s great joy.
Today, amid economic strain, insecurity, or worry, Jesus still meets us where we are. His birth brings light to dark moments and hope worth sharing.
🙏 May the Lord Jesus shine His hope into your life today. Amen.
