1 KINGS 7:48–51
A church building project once succeeded because one person gave money, another provided materials, and others offered their skills. Though their contributions differed, each one helped complete the work. In God’s service, no faithful contribution is insignificant.
In today’s text, Solomon made the furnishings of gold, while Hiram had earlier worked skilfully with bronze. David’s dedicated treasures were also brought into the temple. Together, these contributions completed the temple and prepared it for worship.
God has given each of us different gifts and resources. We should not despise our contribution because it seems small or different from another person’s. Faithfully use what God has given you, knowing that every contribution can advance His work and glorify Him.
