2 TIMOTHY I:7
The truth about life is that there are millions of ways we can die. If we focus on all the sicknesses, viruses, and diseases we or our friends and family can contract; if we remember all the ills that can befall us, we will be crippled by fear everyday. But thank God that through Jesus Christ, we have not been given a spirit of fear. Instead, He gives us a spirit of “power,” “love” and a “sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) But we have to choose not to open the door when fear comes knocking. Once we open it, it comes running in.
