MARK 9:2–10
A young boy once saw lightning strike nearby and said, “I will never forget that moment.” Some encounters leave us changed forever. Certain moments awaken us to realities we never noticed before and open our hearts to something greater.
From the account in Mark 9:2–10, Peter, James and John witnessed Jesus’ transfiguration. His clothes became dazzling white, and Moses and Elijah appeared with Him. Though they did not fully understand, they saw a glimpse of Christ’s divine glory. Later, Peter the Apostle described this as being “eyewitnesses of his majesty” (2 Peter 1:16).
Today, Christ still reveals His power through His Word and work in our lives. When we truly encounter Him, our faith deepens and our perspective changes.
