2 CORINTHIANS 5:18-6:2
Three beeps are heard. Commuters were warned that the train door was about to close by the warning sound and flashing lights. Nevertheless, a few people who were running late made a wild dash across the platform and boarded the train. On one of them, the door slammed shut. Thank goodness it bounced back, and the passenger entered the train without mishap. When the next train was due to come in a short while, I wondered why individuals would take such risks.
We need to go through a much more significant door before it closes. It leads to God’s mercy. According to the apostle Paul, today is the accepted time and the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). The method by which we can be made right with God has been made possible by the coming of Christ, who died for our sins. But the mercy door will eventually close.
Our fate will be determined by how we respond to Jesus Christ.
There is no better day than today for everyone to enter into God’s family.
🙏Today the gate is open, and all who enter in shall find a Father’s welcome. Thank You, Lord Jesus.
