A BETTER VISION

LUKE 19:1-10

“My days of tree climbing are past,” remarked a woman who, as a child, loved to climb trees. “I think that is not very respectable or safe.”

Zacchaeus, a wealthy man, threw away shame and climbed a tree in Jericho to see Jesus. Despite being short and unable to see, he managed to see and talk with Christ. His plan worked, and his life was forever changed when Jesus announced that salvation had come to his house.

Pride, anxiety, and hunger can hinder our ability to see Jesus as the Wonderful Counsellor, Prince of Peace, or true source of satisfaction.

Seeking a closer relationship with Jesus is essential for a better understanding, as God rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

🙏 Jesus, we thank You for everything You are. As we study the Bible and pray, reveal more of Yourself to us. Help us to seek You with all our hearts .
