1 KINGS 6:7–13
A tailor carefully measures, cuts and prepares each piece of cloth before joining them together. Though the customer may not see all the work, the tailor knows exactly what is being done and how every piece should fit. In the same way, God sees and understands every work we do, even those others may not notice.
In 1 Kings 6:7–13, the stones for Solomon’s Temple were prepared at the quarry before being brought to the building site. Therefore, no hammer or iron tool was heard there. God also reminded Solomon that the Temple would truly matter only if he walked in His statutes, obeyed His commands and kept His promises.
Let us faithfully do our part, even when our efforts seem unnoticed. God sees our preparation, obedience and service. He knows our works and will accomplish His purpose through them.
🙏May the Lord bless your work, guide your steps, and make your life a testimony of His faithfulness. Amen.
