MATTHEW 21:1-22
When a local hero visits a small town, flags and other colourful festive decorations appear and people line the streets. The welcome says as much about the crowd as the guest. Our hearts, too, prepare space for those we truly value.
Jesus entered Jerusalem with a loud welcome (Matthew 21:8–9). Crowds spread cloaks and branches, crying “Hosanna” and blessing Him as the promised King. Children join the song, fulfilling Scripture that God ordains praise from the young.
Today, Christ still seeks welcome. In busy lives and troubled times, we choose whether to honour Him with words alone or surrendered hearts. True praise invites His saving rule into everyday decisions.
🙏 May the Lord Jesus reign in your heart today and always. Amen.
