LOVING PATIENCE

EXODUS 6:1–9

A teacher once said, “When a child fails to read the board, do not assume defiance—it may be that they cannot see.” In class, when a pupil seems inattentive or unwilling to learn, it might not be rebellion but weariness or silent struggles at home.

Just like the Israelites, crushed by hardship and unable to hear Moses (Exodus 6:9), some people are too burdened to respond. Instead of rebuking, show patience. As Scripture says, “Love is patient, love is kind” (1 Corinthians 13:4).

Be a wise teacher—gentle, understanding, and faithful. In time, their ears—and hearts—may open.

🙏 May God help you to be patient with others, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
