2 CHRONICLES 5:7–14
In the middle of a power outage during a violent storm, a family sat huddled together in the dark. Fear hung in the air as wind battered the windows. Then, softly, the mother began to sing a familiar worship song. Her voice trembled at first, but soon the children joined in. Their voices rose gently above the howling wind.
Like in 2 Chronicles 5, where the people sang and God’s presence filled the temple, that small living room became a place of peace. The storm did not stop, but fear lost its grip. In crisis, we may not have control—but through Spirit-led songs, we find strength, unity, and calm. Not by might, but through the Spirit—and the power of praise.
🙏 May God give you a song in the midst of the storm, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
