PSALM 127:1–2
In 2010, a young woman spent months preparing her dream garden—watering, planting, and pruning daily. Yet despite her tireless effort, nothing grew. Only later did she discover the soil lacked nutrients. Her labour was real, but without the right foundation, it was in vain.
Like her, we often pour energy into our goals, burdened by anxiety and pressure to perform. But Psalm 127:1–2 reminds us: unless God is at the centre, our work is futile.
He alone supplies what truly mattersl—including rest. God loves us deeply and invites us to trust Him with our worries. When we surrender control, He nourishes our hearts—and even gives sleep to those He loves.
Let go. Rest in His grace.
