THE GREATER GLORY

JOHN 17:1–5, 20–24

In the days of mighty kings, one ruled like Shaka Zulu—strong, feared, and praised as a saviour of his people. He built cities, won battles, and left behind statues of his greatness.

But far from His throne, in a humble town, a carpenter’s son was born. No fanfare. No warriors. Just a quiet plan unfolding.

On the night before his death, Jesus prayed—not for escape, but for glory. A glory not of empires, but of love, sacrifice, and unity (John 17:1–5, 20–24).

We were once tribes at war, chasing pride. Now, we are one people, singing about a wooden cross that changed the world.

🙏 May you continue to see the glory of the cross.
