FROM FEAR TO FREEDOM

HEBREWS 12:18–24

A girl once failed badly in her school exams. Afraid of being punished, she avoided class and hid from her teachers. That fear is like Mount Sinai—where the Israelites trembled before God’s holy presence (Hebrews 12:18–21). Sin made them feel unworthy and distant from Him.

But then, the girl’s new teacher called her gently, encouraged her, and offered to help her start again. That is Mount Zion—where Jesus welcomes us with love and forgiveness (Hebrews 12:22–24). He took our place and gave us a new beginning. No more fear.

Like that girl, we can now return with joy, knowing we are accepted and loved. Through Jesus, we walk in the light, not the shadows of our past. He is our way out of fear and into freedom (John 8:12).

🙏 May the Lord help you to avoid the darkness and continue walking in the light towards eternity.
