GENESIS 3:1–10
My young nephew broke a rule and knew it. When I sat down with him, he squeezed his eyes shut—believing, like a child, that if he could not see me, I could not see him. It reminded me of children who cover their faces during hide-and-seek, thinking they are hidden.
It also reminded me of Adam and Eve. After they sinned, they hid from God. But God saw them—and still sought them in love.
God sees us, even when we hide in guilt. Not to shame us, but to call us back. Through Jesus, He offers forgiveness.
🙏 May God continue to see you through the eyes of love. Amen.
