LUKE 1:18–25
In today’s fast-paced city life, milestones often feel like checkboxes—career success by 30, marriage soon after, maybe a home or a child next. If you have missed some, the silence of friends or offhand comments at gatherings can sting.
Elizabeth knew that feeling. In her world, childlessness brought shame, even suspicion. Despite this, she and her husband kept serving God faithfully.
Then, in what seemed like the twilight of their lives, everything changed. God heard them. He gave them not just a child but John the Baptist—the one who would prepare the way for Jesus.
In a world that measures worth by visible success, know this: God values your faithfulness more. He sees what others overlook. He hears your quiet prayers. Even if the timeline looks off, His plan is always perfect—and filled with honour.
Wait with trust. Your story is not over yet.
🙏 May God change your story for good.
