ECCLESIASTES 4:8–12
Life in Nigeria can be tough—whether it is trying to pass WAEC, handle university stress, hustle for a job, or even just dealing with pressure from family and friends. At such times, having someone who truly supports you can make all the difference.
Ecclesiastes 4 reminds us that life is better when we do not go through it alone. Verse 9 says two are better than one—they get more done and lift each when any one of them falls.
That is how friendships, family, and godly relationships should be. We need people who encourage us, pray with us, and stand by us. And sometimes, you are that person for someone else—a classmate, roommate, or friend who just needs someone to care.
But even when no one seems around, remember God is always near. Psalm 46:1 says He is our ever-present help. So if you are down, reach out to Him. And if you are up, look out for someone to lift.
🙏 May the Lord be your helper and use you to lift men up. Amen.
