HOSEA 6:1–6
“Bidden or not bidden, God is present” is written on a plaque in a house. “Acknowledged or unacknowledged, God is here” could be the present-day translation.
Hosea, an Old Testament prophet, encouraged the Israelites to acknowledge God’s presence, as they had forgotten Him. His insight reminds us that God is present in our lives, both in joy and struggles.
Acknowledging God can be applied to various aspects of life, such as job promotions, housing applications, college acceptance, and meals. It helps us remember God’s presence in our lives, whether it is in our success or sorrows. Acknowledging God helps us finish tasks, and it provides comfort in difficult situations.
As we acknowledge God, we can trust His guidance and support in our lives.
God is ever-present and constantly at work.
🙏 As you acknowledge God’s presence, may His power be made manifest in Jesus’ name. Amen.
