ISAIAH 40:9–11
There was a threatening weather alert, and the neighbourhood became chaotic and filled with cars. As parents gathered to pick up children from the local community school, a woman stepped out of her car to protect a child from rain, a moment of real-time parental care that reminded me of my heavenly Father.
Isaiah forecasted punishment for disobedience and brighter days for God’s people. He assured the Israelites of God’s presence and care, like a parent protecting the child.
When people put their complete trust in the Lord, they find security and care in Him, which gives them strength in trying times.
🙏 Father, protect Your child with Your mighty hands, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
