ISAIAH 33:2–6
People in our city built and purchased homes in landslide-prone areas despite warnings from geologists and city regulations. The unstable land posed a risk, but some residents were unaware or chose to ignore the danger.
Many people in ancient Israel did not listen to the Lord’s warnings to abandon idols and worship the true God. The Old Testament shows the consequences of their disobedience. Despite the chaos, the Lord offered forgiveness and hope if they returned to Him.
The prophet Isaiah stated that the Lord is a stable foundation, providing salvation, wisdom, and knowledge (Isaiah 33:6).
Today, we have the choice to build our lives on our own desires or embrace God’s eternal principles found in the Bible and Jesus Christ.
