LOST BUT FOUND

LUKE 15:1–9

John and his wife were frantic when his mother-in-law went missing while shopping with a relative. She was suffering from memory loss and confusion, and the situation was uncertain. Worst-case scenarios arose, and they prayed to God for help in finding her.

She was found miles away.

Jesus compares humans to lost sheep, comparing them to a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine in the open country to find the lost sheep. When he finds it, he calls his friends and neighbours and rejoices, as he has found his lost sheep (Luke 15:4-6).

Jesus, likened to a shepherd, values all individuals, young and old, and encourages us to turn to Him when we are wandering in life. God wants us to experience His love and blessings. It is never too late to turn to Him.

🙏Lord Jesus, You search for us and find us. Thank You for making us Your own.
