PROVERBS 18:10–11
My brother and I were planning an extended family gathering, and I offered to drive. He asked if I could drive his car, which he preferred. I assumed he preferred his spacious car, but he explained that he felt safer and protected in his car.
His comments prompted me to reflect on my personal “safe place” and compare it to Proverbs 18:10, which describes God’s name as a fortified tower. God’s name, representing His character, person, and everything, provides true protection for His people.
Where is your “safe place”? The power and security we truly need are provided by God’s presence with us wherever we seek safety.
🙏Dear God, thank You that no matter what we face today, we find safety in Your presence.
