JOHN 14:25–31
A lady shared her longing for peace and contentment, despite her successful business and influential relationships. One day, she found the Prince of Peace, a source of true peace and contentment, after a friend shared the good news of Jesus. This profound experience changed her understanding of true peace and contentment.
Jesus spoke of peace to His friends after their last supper (John 14), preparing them for His death, resurrection, and the Holy Spirit’s coming. He aimed to teach them how to find well-being despite hardships, offering unparalleled peace.
Jesus appeared to frightened disciples after His death. He greeted them, saying, “Peace be unto you” (John 20:19), offering them peace and a new understanding of resting in His work. This awareness leads to deeper confidence, transcending our ever-changing feelings.
Jesus came to bring peace into our lives and our world.
